Aqua Control Valves is a family-owned business based in Belgaum, India, founded in 1990 by Sharad Pai. What started with a fascination for valves quickly grew into a specialized manufacturer of high-quality ball valves. The company's trajectory soared with the arrival of Chetan Pai, Sharad's son. Chetan, with his engineering background, significantly expanded production capacity tenfold, modernized facilities, and diversified the product line to include valves for the real estate sector. A key innovation was the development of durable stainless steel valves, which swiftly became a game-changer across industrial and real estate segments. Driven by global ambitions, Aqua Control Valves secured ISO certification, adopted 3D modeling for design, and drastically increased its turnover. Our commitment to quality is further demonstrated by a state-of-the-art in-house testing facility for API fire safety standards. A significant milestone was being chosen as an OEM by a prestigious 160-year-old American conglomerate, beating 33 competitors. This win highlights our dedication to exceptional quality, cost-efficiency, and robust systems. Currently, we're expanding with a new, advanced facility in Waghawde, Karnataka, aiming to be a one-stop-shop for all valve requirements.

Our Team
Internationally renowned Banker, a former Chairman & Managing Director of Canara Bank. He is the pioneer in implementing modern banking approaches such as branch computerization, networking, anywhere banking, ATMs during early 1990s. He introduced new banking products such as Mutual funds, Home loans, insurance, factoring etc. for the first time in Public Sector Banks. Canara bank was at the top in every aspect of banking during his tenure as the CEO. Known for his financial, ethical dealings, human relations & best management skills, these play a key role in the guiding spirit of Aqua Control Valves Pvt. Ltd. His advice & involvement in various issues made “Aqua” produce valves known to many industries in India and abroad.
First generation entrepreneur established this unit in 1980 (formerly known as Pai Enterprises till 1989). Developed many import substitutes for National Institute of Oceanography (Department of Oceanology of CSIR) & Goa Shipyard Ltd., a public sector undertaking, Ministry of Defense GOI making war ships for the country. Before entering into the exciting field of Industrial valves, the unit was producing Worm Gear Actuators for many leading brands. Promoted Aqua Biotech Pvt. Ltd. Actively engaged in organic farming, dairy, bio-fertilizers and manures. Member of Karnataka Agri Mission, an advisory board to the C.M., Karnataka State.
An Engineering Graduate from the Gogte Institute of Technology, with specialization in Industrial and Production Engineering. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University, Washington D.C., U.S.A. He is well versed with the latest International quality & manufacturing standards, CAD/CAM Engineering, Manufacturing & Management methods that are adopted almost all over the world.
A graduate in Human psychology, she looks after HR & general administration. Known for her discipline and housekeeping made this unit a perfect place to work. She has been contributing a lot of her efforts and time and has over 2 decades of service in the Manufacturing Industry.
A graduate in Business Administration, she looks after Sales & Marketing divisions of the organization. Her experience with over 15 years has been benefiting the organization on a huge level.
